The Chapel Hill Woodturners will host a tool making workshop at Frank Penta's place in Chapel Hill from 9 AM until 3 PM on Friday, November 22.

If you have any questions, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. There is no charge, but steel and tool accessories will be for sale at prices well below retail.

In addition to the opportunity to buy materials at low cost , there is a certain satisfaction in making your own tools and Chapel Hill club members will be on hand to assist at the various tool making stations.

In past years, members have made a vast array of hand tools including parting tools, bedans, scrapers, chatter tools, hook tools, Hunter type tools(round cutter), three point tools, skews, handles with collets, hollowing tools and cutters.

If you need to hone (no pun intended) your sharpening skills or have questions about sharpening, you'll find a number of folks highly skilled in that area as well available to answer your questions.

Come out and support the Chapel Hill club & have some fun while you add to your tool collection. No need to sign up...just show up !!
